Hmmm....

I tried to use the online for the 1099's I needed to make and I kept getting notices that the entry was wrong, (even though it wasn't) with no way to get any help to fix it. I ended up dumping everything I had already done and starting over to do the forms manually.
What's great about it: Have always liked turbo tax
What's not so great: Not as easy this year

It says you can leave the page--it's being saved. I saved the return and left. I came back and it wasn't saved. I had to start over and had already done everything but reviewed.
What's great about it: Just answer the questions
What's not so great: Make double sure you're saving your return

2015 Return

I was not able to access my 2014 Return, thought I had saved it, however, it was saved as a PDF, then when I got a new computer I was not able to transfer my information. The .tax document was empty..... I was extremely dissatisfied with this. I had to re-enter and look up all the prior year information which was an extreme hassle.
No. 2 - The cost is excessive.
No. 3- I own my manufactured home, but rent the lot it sits on. I would be great if you could make this an option.

Turbo Tax

I like using turbo tax I recommend it to everyone over any other online program.
What's great about it: It has gotten easier the more often I use turbo tax
What's not so great: sometimes it is hard to fix errors. You can do a search all.

Nice software

Great software but don't know why I need to create a web account to use the it. Previously that was not needed and I don't know what kind of information is stored on the account.
What's great about it: Easy to use and always up to date.

No more Turbo Tax

No more turbotax. I was sick of the incessant attempts to get me to enter unnecessary information for marketing purposes after 5 minutes. Turbotax can do nothing for the average filer they can't get from just about any other tax app or site. Even this review form is just another way for intuit to grab at your information.
Which is to say nothing of having to reenter information repeatedly despite loading in last year's information. Also, their version of user-friendliness and attempting to get you a decent return is to take you through every single possible step one by one, instead of, say, helping users skip large sections that don't apply to them.
And no, a few arcane bullet points of which the average user knows practically nothing doesn't count.
But mostly, stop Facebooking people. Try making a better product instead of groping your own customers for marketing info.
What's great about it: None that any tax app or site doesn't already have
What's not so great: Intrusive, user-unfriendly, has nothing everyone else doesn't already have

Product works well. Easy to follow and save along the way if you need to stop for some reason and go back to it later.
