Harder to use than in the past. also had to call an accountant for some answers. Did not have much luck with getting my questions answered by Turbo Tax

Constantly Crashed

I've never had this problem. I have a very new iMac with no other problems. Program crashed at various stages for no apparent reason, usually by getting stuck on loading the next page.
What's great about it: I was able to file my taxes
What's not so great: Crashed about 15 times

Easy to use

Excellent software for filing a return.
Had trouble going from the Forms information back to Easy Step back to Easy Step to find out where this information was entered. When the information on the form didn't seem right, it would be nice to go back to the place in Easy Step where this data was entered so you could better understand how the number was entered or calculated.

What's great about it: Using Easy Steps helps so nothing is missed
What's not so great: Mac issues with software locking up and needed to close return and restart Turbo Tax.

Only One Problem_ with Investments

An ROP downloaded from our investment company as a sale, but with an NA on the date sold and a "0" for cost. Of course, that not only increased the income, but it was also double counted b/c it was already reported as Interest. There were no instructions for how to handle an ROP. Please fix!

What's great about it: Love Turbo Tax. Usually simple with great instructions
What's not so great: This year, had a problem with an investment coding. An ROP (Return on Principle) was coded as a sale - wrong

First time on Mac - worked well!

First time I've used TurboTax on a Mac and worked just as it did on Windows which was nice. Easy to walk through and thorough in providing worksheets and schedules.
What's great about it: Caught all the items I should have found on return
What's not so great: It's Deductible doesn't have category for building supplies
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Great Way to Do Taxes

Great way to prepare taxes for individuals and small businesses. I know what I want to complete and TurboTax let's me jump to the topics I need to work on. But for a novice tax filer the Guide Me feature is perfect.
What's great about it: ease of use, incorporated knowledge, flexibility
What's not so great: hung up trying to use credit card to pay for audit protection
