Easy to use even for a complex return

Was easy to use and helped me organize taxes.
Still have to watch to make sure you don't pay taxes on retirement income in Mississippi.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Still concerned about Mississippi Retirement Income

As easy as gathering eggs

The software is progressing better and better each year. Questions are easy to follow and the input methods have been updated to incorporate much more automation. One day my little chicks will utilize this application, once they have left the nest.
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: time away from the flock working on taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

tax preparation

I bought the Deluxe Edition then had to buy the business for the 1099-Misc. and then LOST THE STATE TAX THAT WAS INCLUDED ORIGINALLY. I don't think that was right.
What's great about it: step by step
What's not so great: Couldn't find where my 1099-Misc deductions went. bought the turbo deluxe pkg/state then updated to business and state.

File every year with Turbo-Tax. I am always confident in the ease and security of the return. Needed a input form for 1099-LTC that should be part of the package.

some problems

The program still works well, and explanations are getting clearer each year. However, I encountered two problems running the program; twice, it got "hung up" and I needed to reboot my computer. I don't know if this is the particular disk I had, or a problem with the program itself.

glitch this year

After submitting numbers and click continue, the calculating would freeze up. Lost all my info twice. Had to call customer service to send me a new download. It did a third time,but I restarted computer and got threw it. Mac is only a couple years old. This is my 6th or 7th year using turbotax. First time I've had a problem.
What's great about it: easy to understand and enter info
What's not so great: Kept getting stuck on calculating

Glad to be back to Turbo tax

So glad Turbo tax got the safety issues corrected. Last year, for the first time in years, I used another program and hated it. Turbo Tax asks you to enter data. The other program asked if I wanted to apply for certain things. I like that Turbo tax asks me which forms I have and then determines if we qualify for anything.
What's great about it: Comprehensive
