Very nicely done, 9 years and counting

Turbo tax continues to be the premier vehicle to file one's taxes. I file for numerous family members and friends; sadly free of charge :( In any case, I have my choice of tax software as someone else pays for it. I continue to return to Turbo Tax due to the many easy to use features and the intuitive (pardon the pun) manner by which it knows how to ask clarifying questions. This helps keep you out of audit problems. Overall, smart interface, easy to use, does everything you need and files all forms up to corporate forms and when you add years of experience in filing taxes its really a no brainer.
What's great about it: Too easy not to use. Simply the best way to efile taxes
What's not so great: Costs are starting to creep up a bit for longer forms.

Generally easier to follow and complete than last year (2014) but still some difficulty jumping from income to expenses & vise versa. No memory or program lockup issues over the 2 months of elapsed time including numerous updates and interruptions.

Another year with Turbo Tax, and well prepared as usual. I can always find the answer if there is a question about any thing I can't understand. Simply plug in your answers and done! Will never use anything else.
What's great about it: Even an idiot like me can do it!
What's not so great: Sometimes overly wordy for an idiot like me!

Calmed My Fears

I'll continue using Turbo Tax in the future. It's easy, quick and convenient. Makes the whole tax return then make more sense.
What's great about it: Easy to use, walks you through everything. I've prepared my tax returns for years using Turbo Tax, and will continue.
What's not so great: No Cons

For this retiree and sole proprietor spouse this is the easiest and least expensive way to file taxes. The program will guide you step-by-step all the way through.

Lots of crashes and spinning wheels

I don't know if it was an issue with the Mac version but we had a lot of technical trouble with the program. This happened at least 10 times: I would hit "calculate" and the wheel would spin endlessly until I force-quit the application. It was very frustrating. It it weren't for that, I would have been fairly happy with the program.
What's great about it: When it wasn't crashing or freezing, turbotax zipped along breezily, with a relaxed, chatty tone to the directions.
What's not so great: Lots of trouble with the software crashing--had to force quit many times.

Gets better every year

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years. Each year they attempt to make it better and mostly succeed. I would like to save where I left off in the interview process and be able to return to that exact spot. It only returns you to that section of the return and you often have to repeat some of what has already been entered. Otherwise I love it or I wouldn't purchase it year after year.
What's great about it: Very user friendly
What's not so great: Can't save on a specific page and reopen
