fileing problems

There was no direct path by which I could print the returned to be sent to the IRS or The state of Kansas. So I printed the preview copy to file with.

Minor detail incorrect in local return

Despite having a check box for whether each line of income was earned in Pontiac (and checking it since my wife's was not), the automated calculation did not work. This calculated me owing additional tax which I did not really owe. I was able to force the main City form to exclude this income, but it was a Forced field then, which shows up as an error in the TTAX checking process.
Maybe TTAX can correct this, I have had to do it three years in a row.

What's not so great: Pontiac Return counted non Pontiac income

State tax issue

Have used Turbo Tax for many years and it works great. This year I did not need NJ tax forms but the program did not give me an opportunity to delete them. I live in Florida and am not required to pay state income taxes.
What's great about it: federal taxes worked great
What's not so great: kept working on NJ state tax but I am not a NJ resident.

The worst ever

Wow! I've used TurboTax for years and this was the worst ever in terms of bugs in the system. Screen freezes and menus that were incorrect caused me to have to enter my taxes three times in the system. Yes, I did save my work along the way but the menu system didn't allow me to go back and edit certain sections. I'm questioning whether or not I want to use TurboTax next year.
