Takes the worry out!

Great Product! This was the first time I had to issue 1099 forms and this program really helped!
What's great about it: Guides me through new changes.
What's not so great: May take me through more detail than I need but it's worth it.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Refund

I have always loved Turbo Tax, was easy to make corrections, always walked me through the income and deductions. Got me a great refund! This year I started a new business and Turbo Tax, filled out City Tax Forms. Which is wonderful, but I was unable to re-locate the Annual Exemption Request Form in Turbo Tax to make a correction - never did find it. I do not like the fact that my spouses name is on this form - she does not have any interest in the business. She is on social security disability and this for me caused a red flag. I corrected it on another form
What's great about it: Walks customers through all income and deductions
What's not so great: Unable to locate and updated City Tax Forms, 1st filing to state has always been free

much better than 2014 turbotax

i have windows 10 and google chrome as brouser. when i selected print,, i would get a screen asking what forms i wanted. when i selected the forms i selected the preview print and i would get a black screen giving the printiing instruction but no print button was available. attempted many times no results. i had to record a pdf file. i was told the new windowa 10 brouser has the same problem

I have a sound services business and assets are acquired each year as I invest in my business. This needs to be easier to access and prompts better to enter. The retire of old assets needs also to be clearer and prompts better to guide proper disposition. The guide for income and deduction expenses needs to ask more specially for 1099s. The ease of completion has become less stressful and confident level in my understanding much greater. Great job Turbo folks!
What's great about it: The navigation between forms was easier this year, comparison year over last year was helpful in entries.
What's not so great: Last year entries need to be displayed as a guide in all cases

I like turbo tax and have used it a number of years. It is very good and thorough in its questions and format.
What's great about it: Clear questions
What's not so great: Got stuck on "calculating"

This is an excellent product, and it appears that the worksheets work well. However in some complex situations the explanations that are provided are a bit lacking in detail, leaving one to wonder if the forms are correctly filled out.
So far I have not been audited (have been using it for 10 years now) so I have to assume everything is correct.

What's great about it: Generally intuitive, all previous years data transfers easily
What's not so great: Explanations of some more complicated areas are insufficient

Some tech problems but program worked will

Unfortunately, Turbo Tax on CD would not load on my MAC laptop. Nothing I could do would get it to load from the Apple drive. It loaded on a old PC. Once loaded, it worked fine. Often the instructions are confusing for individual lines, but beyond that the program is effective. You'll need to go to the IRS instructions. Taxes are always a pain--this program limits that a bit.
What's great about it: It gets the taxes done without the accountant.
What's not so great: It didn't load on my MAC
