EASY AS PIE!

The easiest and painless way to do taxes! Going to use Turbo Tax every year, like I have been for the past 6 years.
What's great about it: Loved the step-by-step easy way to do taxes with my home and small businesses receiving all tax credits.
What's not so great: The instructions for the 1096 for completing my taxes was a little unclear whether it gets submitted electronically.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbotax Home and Business

Program is one of the best for any tax return. It's easy to use and understand. I don't see why they split the Schedule C into another program, but that makes doing your taxes cost more. I've used Turbotax since 1995 and have enjoyed using it. Easy and efficient. Better than doing taxes by hand, like in the old days. Would recommend it to anyone. To Intuit, I would like to say Thank you...but could you put the schedule C back into the deluxe?
What's great about it: Great if you have a small business
What's not so great: It's expensive

No place to send return upon completion

Completed my tax return1040A and printed out to mail. I had a refund coming...thank you. However, there was no instruction sheet to tell me the date return is due, where to mail return etc..
On another return I completed for a family member that owed money an instruction sheet was provided.
Am I missing something or is there a glitch in the program??
What's great about it: Used this program since 2002. First time I had a problem.

I have used H&R and it's predecessors since 1984. I decided to try Turbo Tax this year and I can honestly say that I have been amazed by the ease of use and the overall professionalism of the product.
What's great about it: Simplicity of Use
What's not so great: None

Easy to use

I have used this for years not. Get more back since I started using them. It is very easy to use and usually takes less than one hour as long as you have all your information.
What's great about it: Asks detail questions but in a way that you can skip what does not apply to you.
What's not so great: none
