Fair but errors as usual

Fine for run of the mill returns.
Very difficult to remove forms that you no longer need - like K1 for a deceased spouse.
Review misses the same entries over and over. 8 passes plus manual entries to get it right.
What's great about it: Guided Entry
What's not so great: Removing obsolete forms is poorly handled

Always trust it, just miss the progress bar.

We've used Turbotax since its inception. I trust that its accurate, up to date, and all of that. This year, there was a little trouble finding parts of the form that might need revisited once I went through the whole thing. They do have a flag option that was nice for when I knew I needed to check on something, but previous versions had sort of a progress bar that you could click right to where you needed to be. Miss that option.
What's great about it: Great refund, easy to use
What's not so great: Hard to look at specific areas when reviewing

Anyone can master it!

I did ask a couple questions and didn't get an answer, but found the answers myself online. I did get a very quick response to one question about filing cost in one section. Very pleasant gentleman helped me through it.
What's great about it: Simple, confident
What's not so great: Takes some time to be accurate, no reply to question
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

I help multiple people with their taxes. All of them wish to send in their forms so I am the only one who e-files. If I am not the FIRST one to do the state return, I am not given an option as to whether or not it's time to use the free filing for state. In years past this was an option, bu NOT THIS YEAR, so no one got the privilege of filing a free state return.

What's great about it: Easy way to do my taxes for multiple businesses

Turbo Tax is awesome

Filing jointly is so easy and saves us money. It walks us thru every detail, catches omissions or errors on our part. We feel empowered to take care of our taxes without paying huge sum to a tax accountant.
What's great about it: Easy, through, covers all bases
What's not so great: We need to get ALL the information ready before hand to input

I have been using Turbotax for years - and each year I appreciate the incremental improvements that make it even easier to file my income taxes and prep the required info for my wife's business.
What's great about it: great on-line help, easy to follow

For some 20 Years I have requested that TTAX put "Continue" and "Back" in a common place on every screen.
Also make "Back" go Back to the screen previous in all cases.
I guess no one read this stuff.
What's great about it: I like to mouse around
What's not so great: Turbo Tax Tires me out and takes too much of my time.

best software ever

Have been using TurboTax for over 20 year now. Easily the most useful software on my PC, except for maybe Quicken. to date I have not run into a situation that turbotax was not designed to handle. Very well thought out, solid product. Hope to keep using it for another 20+ years.
What's great about it: easy to use, carryover data from prior year, import from quicken and it's deductible
What's not so great: No undo when changing info in detail pop-ups.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
