frustrating to use

the program kept hanging up on my mac. I kept having to close and restart. Impossible to see what is going on behind the screens. I could not print out certain screens. Aweful. I think I will do it by hand next year.

you need to do work on stocks

I had a record of a stock sale. Fought and fought to make turbo tax understand that they were purchased through an employee stock purchase program. Unless this is declared up front -- forget it.
What's great about it: mostly an easy experience
What's not so great: employee stock purchase trouble

So Easy!

Turbo Tax works great for my small business and personal taxes. The only annoying part this year for me was that it automatically added Schedule K and S when I went into those sections to just read about them. When the error check was run, it wanted names for those sections, and it was not easy to figure out how to remove them.
What's great about it: The step by step process makes it easy and thurough
What's not so great: Adds Schedules K, and S automatically when not needed. They were hard to remove
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Another Year, Another Successful Return

I was able to complete both my son's and our taxes in three days. I like the thoroughness of the program and its guides. Helps me resolve questions very early in the process.
The only problem I have is that because I don't see the actual forms I don't understand what I have failed to complete during the review. The program used to show you the form so that you knew what they wanted but this version does not.
What's great about it: It gets easier and easier
What's not so great: Hides how forms are actually filled out

What's not so great: FAQs were interestingly answered by fellow Turbotax users...

Great product !

Turbo tax is relatively easy and user friendly to use. We have been using it for years. Has all the information you need to do your taxes well correct and efficient. The errors however need to be caught earlier instead of at the end f return.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: errors need to be corrected at the end of each section not at the end.
