TurboTax Home and Business Review

This is my first year using TurboTax Home and Business tax preparation software. I have, however, used Turbo Tax Deluxe for the past 10 or so years. Highly recommended. Support and Tutorials are excellent..
What's great about it: Very concise, relatively easy to use, covers a lot of common and not so common tax issues with ease.
What's not so great: If errors occur in your return, fixing them can be a little touchy.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I love it and have used it since 2008...
2 things I will bring to your attention again.
1. More complete details from Last Years return would help jog my thinking. for example, if you have a last year number shown, make it possible to click on that number and get the details of what made up that number.
2. Ability to add items within a "cell" would be quite helpful.

Taxes :-(

Love the program. Walks you through every step buts seems to be more complicated than last year but then taxes and especially security is getting more complicated. Will definitely ne using again next year!

happy but frustrated

after 13 years of using the home and business product with no problems, this year my mac version locked up on the calculation part in several areas. it all worked out in the end, but only after a few hard reboots. hopefully next year it will work.
What's great about it: easy to use and comprehensive
What's not so great: locks up the computer

Have used it for years

I have used TurboTax for years to do my taxes, my children's & a friend's. Very easy to use, though you still need to be organized and have your paperwork together. Occasionally I want to go back to another screen & I can't find it. I used to do my taxes paper/pencil, which I didn't mind, but this is so much easier & quicker, & I don't have to pay someone else to do it. Also, downloading investment income & transactions is easy & much less complicated than by hand.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to go back & find something
