i like it very user friendly. has good references and I like the Flag option.
What's great about it: edit option
What's not so great: when you return to return it doesn't take you where you left off

Being a retired IRS agent I'm tasked with doing the returns of family, relatives, friends of family, friends, and friends of friends. It started out to be a pretty simple exercise, but over time it morphed to investment peculiarities, rental issues, Schedule Cs, LLCs, and REITs. Some of my "clients" are not detailed record keepers and i get folders of "stuff" that I have to plow through. Once organized all i have to do is input the raw data and TT analyzes it all for me and produces a correct, final product. I would be crippled without TT. You have a life long dedicated client, and i can't thank you enough.
What's great about it: Ease of using the program; customer support is terrific; and the time saved is immeasurable.
What's not so great: None come to mind.

A fantastic tax program

If you are as we are, wanting to make sure that the taxes are done right, then TURBO TAX is the software to use. Have used TURBO TAX since I started doing our filing taxes, and not paying someone else to do our taxes. Worry free and confident that the TURBO TAX software makes sure that if you are getting a refund, you are getting the maximum refund. I recommend TURBO TAX to all my friends whenever I get the chance to recommend a tax service. Try TURBO TAX and experience a fantastic way to file your taxes.I love this product,
What's great about it: Easy steps and directions
What's not so great: no cons
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I"ve used Turbo Tax for many years. the best on the market.
What's great about it: Makes a difficult task reasonable
What's not so great: Still takes a long time

Almost Perfect

turbo tax suggested I could save $1,600 if I got a traditional IRA of $6,500 but that did not appear later when I did further edits and possibly that in the long run might not really save me money since I will be 70 1/2 before Apr 15 and will just have to get my RMD in order.
What's great about it: Most entries were easy
What's not so great: When getting the 5 digit PIN, the explanation should be at the front instead of after hitting edit
