simple to use once you understand the terms

i would recommend this software, howver i did have to take a few minutes to learn all the accounting terms
What's great about it: simple and fast
What's not so great: terms are new to me
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Every year I come back to Turbo Tax. So user friendly, great tool tips, great level of detail. Will use this again next year.
What's great about it: User Friendly, Easy Explanations, Solid Search Library
What's not so great: Doesn't Save Payment Data
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I had a baby

Leaves little to the imagination!

I wish the product would start like the IRS tax form, listing income first, and then deducting expenses.
All in all, though, it is a very thorough product, even for specialized professions like mine.
At the very end, when I paid my filing bill (and why is there an extra charge for filing state taxes?), I could not print out a confirmation of payment. Instead, there was a pop-up asking me to answer a question.
What's great about it: Answering the step-by-step questions is easy if you have your paperwork.
What's not so great: Does not take into account previous IRS debts.

What's great about it: simplifies questions about what counts and what doesn't
What's not so great: didn't save all the info i put in the first night and had to redo it all!

A Great Program

Turbo Tax continues to get better, it's my third year filing my own taxes & I appreciate the fine tuning. It's a great program that allows the taxpayer to take the mystery out of filing.
What's great about it: Walking me through the fine points... helps me remember everything I can deduct & maximize my rebate.
What's not so great: Going back to the very beginning page each time I log in.

Pretty nice and easy

I really like the transfer of info from year to year and from Fed to State. I also like how much easier it makes filling out the form with guiding questions, examples, or help boxes/links. My main complain is that it not the easiest to navigate through and can get lost. It might be nicer to have an option to have all the questions for a section on a page, instead of clicking the same yes or no box multiple times to make a change somewhere in the middle of the series of questions. It also would make referencing back for a specific piece of data easier.
What's great about it: Transfers a lot of unchanging info, i.e. names, birthdates, address, etc.
What's not so great: Not the easiest to navigate

Have used this product three of the last four years. The one year that I didn't use it was a disaster. I just love the ease of use of this product.
