Everything went well until I was ready to file. Then TurboTax asked for address information of a 1099-R. Payer did not provide address on form, just name and phone number. I had to look up company info on line. Would have been good to ask this before getting to filing step.
What's great about it: Easy, walks you through topics, uses last year's info
What's not so great: One issue with 1099-R

Trust TurboTax

I've been using TT for a number of years now. Seems it just keeps getting easier! I would like to see the forms "in progress" but that is minor issue. The revenue and deductions show only the prior year, and 2 or 3 would be nice. But of little matter to me now, I am retired as of last year and well on my way to a 1040A! :-)

Best product for the task-been using for 20+ years

I have always done my own taxes, personal and business and it would be pretty iffy without a program like TurboTax. After I have reviewed in the "forms" mode and made sure no unusual numbers are there my confidence is quite high that there are no problems. I like the fact that I doesn't make me go through a lot of questions in the "Step by Step" mode if I select things my self and even more control in the "Forms" mode.
What's great about it: makes sure the complecated forms are filled our properly
What's not so great: Made using "donate it" more difficult this year.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Good and Bad

Sometimes when I clicked on a help link for the 2015 TurboTax, it opened a previous version of TurboTax. It was confusing to have two versions of the program open at one time. I had to keep closing the older version.
What's great about it: Quick change from "Easy Step" to Forms
What's not so great: In Easy Step, you have to go through pages to make edits

Gives error messages on Illinois state tax "Return cannot be e-filed when sum of Illinois wages plus state wages on all W2s does not equal total wages reported on IL Schedule CR"
