I have used TurboTax Premier for over a decade. With wages, two businesses,and considerable charitable deductions, there are many tax code provisions that apply to my taxes. Having TurboTax gives me the certainty I am using the latest updates to the tax code. It also guarantees that all calculations are accurate. The efiling process is greatly simplified also. The only downside I have observed, consistently year-to-year is that it is difficult to go back and correct erroneous entries. Going back may not allow access to the specific entry and it can require me to re-enter data for the entire section. Shifting between step-by-step and form view helps somewhat, but it would be even better if there were hot links between the form view and the data entry portal in step-by-step. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: thoroughness, accurate math, error check
What's not so great: navigation can be difficult

I can only say that for the past 10+ years, I and my family have used turbo tax for our personal and business income tax filing.
What's great about it: easy to use and understand

Thank you turbo tax! Got it done in a day...A long day but I am done! Love all the tips. Super easy to follow. I also got the audit help with the extra money I saved not using an accountant.

Easier Every Year

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years and the product keeps getting better. The navigation has improved significantly so that you can enter data via forms or follow the navigation guide. The help section still needs improvement. I would like to have the IRS publications come up along with the Turbo Tax professional - then the community answers.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate with forms or guide
What's not so great: Help option for more explaination still needs work
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Topics are covered in depth so that nothing is overlooked. Input format matches what is shown on your forms such as 1099s. An error check is made at the end. Your refund or payment amount is shown and changes as you make entries. Filing on-line is very easy. Refunds usually show up in your account in less than 10 days. Have used Turbo Tax for many years and would not change. Great experience!
What's great about it: Walks you through the various topics so that nothing is overlooked.
What's not so great: Some topics are confusing such as HSA joint account entries

You do not state whether I need to file a state tax return or not and, if so, what forms need to be filed.
Even though I specifically requested the production of a state tax return, you did not provide me with one yet you do not indicate whether I should file a state tax return and, if so, what forms should be filed.
I would like a specific answer with specific instructions.
What's not so great: I am not confident that my return is accurate.
