Helpful but I would like more

I would like to see item by item last year vs, this year included 1099 forms and exactly the amounts they were. A generic financial institution does not tell me which account the dividend amount came from.
What's great about it: Calculates all forms
What's not so great: doesn't show you the exact 1099 forms from last year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

CD/Download vs. Online version

This year I needed to upgrade to a business version of TurboTax and thought I was pre-purchasing the online version I've used for the last 8 years. Too late I discovered I had purchased a downloadable CD version for a specific computer. While it was easy to use, somehow the online version that I've used in the past seemed even easier to use. Also, I missed having the comparison to the previous year's return side-by-side with what I was entering for this year. I do love using TurboTax, though, so next year I'm going back to the online version!
What's great about it: Don't have to worry about "cyberspace"
What's not so great: Didn't have the historical data from last year's return

Rocker It Another Year

I've used Turbo Tax for 18 years now and it keeps getting better each year. The only nit I have is when I sometimes create a new business, the program does not ask me 100% of the questions needed, but catches this error in the Review Process. Just an annoyance as the program should ask me when I am data entering.
What's great about it: Ease of use and thoroughness
What's not so great: Doesn't ask 100% of the questions until the Review Process

Turbo Tax is Easy to use and helpful too

I find the program very easy to use and would recommend it to anyone who wants to do their own taxes!!!
What's great about it: I liked being guilded through all steps and being able to get more info if I didn't understand!
What's not so great: Having to pay the gov't extra business taxes... lol!!!

Great Service and Stress Free

It's always nice to get the taxes filed. Thanks for such a thorough program. You can always stop, save and return where ever you need to at any time! Thanks for that.
What's great about it: It's easy to complete with TurboTax guidance
What's not so great: Taxes are always something I put off but once you start with TurboTax, it's smooth sailing!

Best Way to File Taxes for Self Employed

I have been using turbo tax for Home and Business for many years. Each year it gets a little simpler to file. Follow the step by step process and answer every question. The program will direct you to every area of your tax return that is necessary to file correctly and with confidence.
What's great about it: Step by Step makes it simple to put in all expenses without missing anything
What's not so great: Haven't got one
