My 2015 Return

Was a very easy program to use. I liked the "Risk of audit" feature.
What's great about it: was very easy to use
What's not so great: didn't have anything I didn't like
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Every Year is a Breeze

This product is easy to use every year. This year I had an unusual situation,but was still able to figure it out with a few searches through the FAQs.
What's great about it: Easy to use and compare to previous years
What's not so great: Took me a while to figure out how to handle sale of inherited land
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I e-filed fed and nys 2/28/16. NYS sending refund 3/16, and fed has no record.

Had no issues filling out paperwork till it came time to pay for the filing of state. Unable to access the existing acct from last year - the password from prior year could not use - by the time I got a new password the pay screen had timed out - they should make you automatically have you sign in before you do anything - TurboTax take the hint!
What's great about it: Easy to fill out
What's not so great: Not easy to sign in to existing account

Mostly good

I've been using TurboTax since 2000. I really like the step-by-step process. What I find frustrating are the errors it flags in the self-employment section and how hard it is to find the problems and how to fix them. I went in circles trying to figure out issues related to form 2210AI and finally gave up and backed out the information related to that deduction. I probably paid more than I might have if I could have gotten that area to work. The instructions were really vague. I just didn't have the time to spend to continue fighting it.
What's great about it: Step-by-step instructions
What's not so great: Hard to fix self-employment errors
Pros: I bought or sold investments
