Turbo Tax Home & Business got us our largest refund to date, and I think it found every savings possible!
I've been using Turbo Tax for 10+ years. It gets better and better.

When the light's go out and your alone in the dark

This year I, by accident, had the in-opportunity to peel back the curtain only to be dismayed at what might be many years of bad record's. When I first imported our info from last year, I could not understand why the program only imported 1 business. I asked the spouse why we did not file the second business, she replied that she gave me the figures to file. Puzzled! I then opened the pdf file that is generated at the end. Both the business were there. I then had to reinstall last years program so I could venture in to view the mechanics of the return. What I found was that the tax2014 file did not contain the second business. So I gave up and entered it all by hand, again. Then came the filing and the need to verify figures or supply a PIN, so I opened the pdf again and POOPIE, the figure was not what Turbo had imported and placed in the slot for using. So I again opened the tax2014 file and that is when I decided maybe next year to try other avenue's to file. The figure in the tax2014 file was different than what was in the pdf. Outside of verbally shouting profanity at myself, I realized that the 2 decades of record's I have of my taxes is probably worthless. So I wonder which figure will not get rejected. Your guess is as good as mine. Knowing large corporation's they will try to put the blame on my operating system or the color of my eye's.

NOT VERY USER FRIENDLY

TurboTax is only good for simple 1040 returns. It is NOT a tax software that should be bought for business purposes. tax questions are too limited
What's great about it: NOT ordered in a logical manner
What's not so great: NOT user friendly - questions do NOT reveal true circumstances

Other than the update problem...GREAT
What's not so great: When after update, Turbo tax starts from the beginning - not whwere you end and save. Have to find where you leave off.
