Over all the software worked as expected. Problem was it would not load onto the computer I have used for tax returns for 5 years. I had to find an alternate computer even though both operating systems are windows 7. I spent one very frustrating day with this software. Oh, by the way the restrictions on the nickname SUCK!!!

Great Tax FilingTool

Turbo Tax is an awesome tool. I've used it for the last five years and very happy. I was a bit concerned this year when it asked for my driver's license number before filing. Would recommend including a note to say it's not mandatory and/or only required by certain states for state income tax filers.
What's great about it: User Friendly, and Error Checking

This was year number 20 for me with Turbo Tax! It has been easier every year - and not because I am any smarter! Intuit gets all the credit.

Clear and Detailed Process

I have been using turbo-tax for about 10 years. I love the step-by-step approach with its numerous completion points that allow you to save what you have done and then come back to the stopping point. By asking questions and using check boxes, the software guides the user on a tour through all appropriate options. Easy to use and accurate - I've never been audited or had other problems. The hard part is collecting all the information you need, which must be done no matter what service you use. Turbotax allows you to input all that gathered information yourself and file immediately on completion. And I love the fact that information stored from your previous year's return allows you to jump start the filing process the following year.
What's great about it: Clear pathway to completing a return, even when a tax situation is complicated.

Fast and Complete

I have used Turbo Tax to do my returns for 24+ years. Always fast, understandable and complete. I just had my financial planner review my returns for 2015 and he gave them the thumbs up.
