So many questions

This is my seventh year using Turbo Tax, and it has certainly improved. The only thing I would really like to see that I don't see now is the ability to have more than one window open at once. So I can look at more than one form or review a form while I'm going through the questions.
What's great about it: Easy-to-understand questions
What's not so great: Only one window at a time

Easy and Quick

I would recommend Turbo Tax to anyone. We have always used a CPA which was expensive and time consuming in that I still needed to input all the information into their program. This is much easier. There is a part of me that wonders what I forgot.
What's great about it: Easy instructions to follow. Makes filing easy
What's not so great: Not sure what forms are being generated until the end.

Easy and thorough

I used a CPA for years. He gave me a document to fill out with very little instruction. TurboTax asks good questions and tells you why along with advice on how to respond.
What's great about it: Asks all pertinent questions, compares to last year's data, gives good advice
What's not so great: Had to go back to printed version of last year's to find amount of refund applied to this year's tax

CPA No More

Newly retired and first year with W-2, multiple 1099's, Social Security and health plans. Step by step process enabled me to accomplish what I had been paying a CPA to do for the past 20 years.
What's great about it: Easy step by step process
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Excellent overall. Would recommend and will purchase again next year.
What's great about it: Concise and easy to use. Resource and term look-ups are a great asset.
What's not so great: Non-applicable items should be flagged based on the input provided. Re: 2008 Home Tax Credit data on 2009 purchase NA.
