I figure with 8 hours total including gathering information it is awesome. We have numerous oddities from multiple 1099's to unreimbursed sales expense and home office. I love the way it shows last years numbers to compare against in case I have missed something.
What's great about it: Very detailed and relativly clear
What's not so great: Home office question not clear. There should not be an additional charge to file state electronically.

Straightforward, detailed, redundant checking of info, easy download of investment info -- probably what the guy who charge a ton to do returns use!!!!
What's great about it: Step by step details and instructions
What's not so great: Sometimes it doesn't explain ramifications of a choice
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

7+ Years and running

Easy to use. Very thorough. Love the year to year comparison. Pop up explanations are great. Accuracy guarantee (I remember when I had to check the calculations on earlier programs - and not just Turbo tax). E filing is a breeze. Well worth the cost!
What's great about it: Ease of intitail use and completeness
What's not so great: Sometimes need a little maunvering to get back to a page/field

Loads easily, updates frequently, question and answer format walks you through income and deductions. Very organized, produces all required forms as well as worksheets. Maximizes your refund or minimizes taxes owed. Year-over-year comparisons great help in planning next year's tax strategy.

The capture of depreciable assets is not correct. The software captured the same asset each time you reviewed.

2015 Turbo Tax

This is the first year that I could not open the download of Turbo Tax, using Windows Vista, so I had to call them to mail me a CD. Not sure why this happened, but the CD worked great!
What's great about it: The CD was very easy to use
What's not so great: Could not open downloaded version
