Turbo Tax means No tax headache!

I hate to do my taxes (who doesn't?), but Turbo Tax took the most complicated tax system, and turned it into a walk in the park!

What's great about it: User friendly - step-by-step instructions - Wonderful!

It is a good program that requires intense effort and attention to file your taxes with Turbo. I have used Turbo tax every since it inception and I appreciate the software and have no errors in filing my taxes.
What's great about it: I liked the documentation filing
What's not so great: It was exceptional long work

Always use turbo tax. It walks you through every step and calculates for you, Plus pulls in prior year's data if you use the same computer.

Saved Money Using Turbo Tax!

Everything went great! Was able to complete all my information with no problems and the explanations for different sections were very clear with examples which helped greatly. The program is super easy to use and will save you a ton of money instead of using a CPA.
What's great about it: Everything has great detailed explanations.
What's not so great: Still there are a few confusing sections.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall Great Product, with a few buggy features

I have used Turbo Tax for many years because it is so easy to use. With Turbo Tax almost anyone will be able to complete their taxes without hiring an expensive accountant. With Turbo Tax you have the ability to import data from your brokerage accounts directly into Turbo Tax. However, I had trouble getting this to work and ended up entering the information by hand. Also, after I completed my 2015 return and was going through the review process, Turbo Tax found several "errors" on my Schedule C that it insisted I fix. I did not have any business income or expenses to claim, so I didn't need to file a Schedule C. In an effort to delete the Schedule C from my 2015 taxes I inadvertently deleted my 2014 Schedule C, which I did need. Grrrr - super frustrating. I find it difficult to navigate between viewing forms and going through the Step by Step guide. Also, it should be easier to delete specific forms from your return.
What's great about it: Provides easy to understand explanations of complicated tax situations
What's not so great: Some bugs with transferring data from previous years
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Thank God for TurboTax!

I normally visit my return numerous times over a period of months, until I finally have everything necessary to finalize the return. Unfortunately, if you accidentally start a form (in my case a K-1) that you end up not using, I had to delete the form about 8 times before the deletion finally stayed deleted. And the stray form doesn't show up until you do the error check.
This year my tax return was simpler than in the past (only 46 pages not including the worksheets---We need to elect someone who backs a flat tax--the wizards at TurboTax can easily find another job since they were smart enough to figure out this mess--Maybe soon they'll be designing a trip to Mars!!

What's great about it: Automatic transfer of numbers between forms
What's not so great: Hard to delete forms when you make an initial error
