Still a strong advocate for Turbo Tax just had a little trouble with some depreciation carry over and the AMT portions.
What's great about it: Very complete.
What's not so great: Depreciation hard to follow.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Some difficulty

I use Quicken Books Pro 2012. I do NOT intend to update this program for the foreseeable future. I cannot transfer my data easily.
Turbo Tax should access all quick book programs no matter the year, since both programs are made by the same company.
NOT doing this is an attempt to FORCE your customer (me) to purchase a new program which I neither want nor need.

Easy To File

I just finished filing our 2015 taxes. It was easy, as it usually is. This year I am especially appreciative of this as I lost my wife less than a month ago. So, any difficulties are compounded right now. I'm glad there were none.
What's great about it: Choice of working on what I want or following script
What's not so great: None noticed this year

i love turbo tax

I have used turbo tax for 4 years. it gets better each year. i had to buy the CD version this year because I need to create 1099 for a business. I liked the on line version better. i did three separate returns for relatives and overall worked well. i could not file one electronically due to a 1099 misc for which I did not have an EIN for the payer. I could not find this out but the technical support lady from audit defense told me this. i had trouble paying as well since i "signed in" and the information did not match the credit card. If you have problems paying then go through as a guest.
What's great about it: the program is thorough. i wish there was a tutorial. the help function works fairly well
What's not so great: i did three returns from CD version and it did not like that when i payed.
