Turbo Tax Is A Good Tax Tool

Turbo Tax was easy to use. Takes a bit time, even when you think your finished there is more info to put in! Prepare your figures ahead of time so you can walk through the questions as asked and you will be fine.
Depreciation is most difficult to input, but if you have your original documents and current (auto) information it is helpful. Some info found on prior years taxes as well. Good idea to have that document handy to reference if your first time on Turbo Tax.

What's great about it: The program flows easily.
What's not so great: It took me a few minutes to figure out how to add a second Schedule C business.

The procedure to compete a return, including my business, is very easy. In order to track back it's necessary to use the 'forms' section. I wish there were an easier way to see where entries have gone.
What's great about it: easy to use, very intuitive
What's not so great: can't easily track behind the scenes

Easy and Fast!

I'm a single mom with 3 kids and a small business. Taxes have never been so easy for me to file myself! I had used a different desktop version last year... HandR, and it was so much more complicated!
Turbo Tax made filing for my LLC company so easy!
What's great about it: Very easy to use, guided me through everything!

Another Successful Year

Love TurboTax and so grateful we haven't had to use a CPA. Have been doing our own taxes for almost 30 years and when we started using TurboTax, no more arguments or re-checking for the umpteenth time! :)
I feel the only crazy part is the Student Loans/College/what college expenses can you do and/or upload. It's still a bit tricky and hopefully everything is good. Not TurboTax's problem, just the system in general.
Look forward to doing it again next year with ease. Thanks for helping us all out, TurboTax!

Check and re-check

Be pro-active. Check before you file. I found duplicated interest income which would have added to tax liability. Always compare to prior years for major differences before assuming everything is correct.
What's great about it: Basically easy to follow.
What's not so great: Don't assume everything is correct.

Turbo Tax on Windows 10

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. This year, I bought a new computer using Windows 10. I noticed that Turbo Tax keeps crashing. Also, it takes a long time to open a tax file. I do not know if the issue is with Turbo Tax Home & Business itself or is the issue with Turbo Tax on Windows 10. Quite annoyed especially this morning when Turbo Tax crashed in the middle of tax transmission.
