What's great about it: connect and import from financial institution
What's not so great: quicken tax schedule import

Can't Get Much Simpler!

LOVE Turbo Tax!! Easy to understand and comfortably walked me through every step of the process. Largest 'pitfall'.....It's Deductible- used it for a large number of household donations I made to local charities. Found the amounts to not always be in sync with the true values (some way over, some way under valued). Also, many common toys & household items (like wine glasses and sugar bowls) are not on their list. Other than that issue (which did not affect my return negatively), Turbo Tax is clear, concise and left me feeling positive about my returns!
What's great about it: EASY!!
What's not so great: Its Deductible...

Took More Time Than I Though

It took me 6 hours to get everything done. I had to go back a couple of times, because the question was not as clear as it could have been. There was some confusion as to listing of the regular business office and the home office. There were not category listings for all of my business expenses.
What's great about it: The questions were pretty simple to answer in most cases. There were times they were a little confusing.
What's not so great: There were not categories for all business expenses.

Fast and efficient

I've used Turbo Tax for as long as I can remember. It's a great product.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is fast and efficient. I like doing my taxes at home.
What's not so great: I didn't get my free state even though it asked if I wanted to use it. What's with that??

At the beginning of "File" --> "E-file Your Return for FREE" page, you could be more clear that I am not actually filing at this time, but am now going to enter information for use later, during E-filing.
Over the last few years I keep hesitating at this page for a couple of days, looking at the previous information for the location to enter the refund/owe and signature information.
What's great about it: Found Tax Credit I Didn't Know I Was Eligible To Receive
What's not so great: Clumsy Transition Between "Review" & "File" Sections
