What's great about it: Streamlined it. Doesn't take as long now.
What's not so great: Some areas didn't have as clear an explination as I would have liked.

I'd buy it again. Heck I've used it for over 10 years.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Cost, hidden fees in e-file
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Peace of Mind

It takes a while, since we have a modestly complicated situation (child in college, rental income property, joint filing) but the process is clear and the sense of confidence at the conclusion is priceless.
What's great about it: Thoroughness, precision, technology

Overall good experience all 10 years I've been using it.
What's great about it: Appreciate the clarity
What's not so great: Sometimes doesn't answer questions beyond "check out IRS form"

We have a fairly complicated return with a home office and rental property besides regular employment W2s and 1099Rs. TurboTax steps through it all in a clear and helpful manner. Used to use a CPA until I caught on that they were just putting my data into a similar program - hey! I can do that!
What's great about it: Very user friendly; you can look up instant help/explanations for every input.
What's not so great: When going back to a category to check on what was input ("edit") often requires re-input of data or question answers.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

TurboTax provides just the right balance between assisting you and letting you move forward on your own. Some areas of tax I understand well. Other areas are new to me. It's very easy to get the help you need when you need it or move forward on your own if you don't need help. I've used TurboTax for about 20 years now and it has always more than met my expectations whether my return was simple or complex.
What's great about it: Ease of use
