I liked it better than last year. ( I never received my $25.00 refund). Still complicated getting back for review of Federal and State returns for final check before filing.
What's great about it: Better than last year
What's not so great: Too difficult to get back to Federal once State is completed

Makes it Easy

Filling in the whole thing seemed easier this year...like the questions, blanks and input was redone in a better format. I love that the disc comes to me automatically. The customer service reps in Florida are wonderful. Sweet. Full of knowledge of the products, friendly and calming. Dealing with Turbo Tax makes doing taxes not so much of a chore.
What's great about it: Just about everything

I generally recommend Turbo Tax to friends
What's great about it: Everything flowed logically and offered a thorough investigation of my taxes.
What's not so great: I had an issue with business deductions and was unable to get assistance.

I have been using TurboTax for many years now, and have learned a lot along this journey of paperwork and recordkeeping, and do recommend this tax program to everyone.
What's great about it: TurboTax does cover about everything you need for taxes.
What's not so great: The more complicated your life, the harder your taxes are to prepare.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR MANY, MANY YEARS AND PLAN TO CONTINUE USING IT. IT IS EXCELLENT,
I HOPE I WILL BE ABLE TO IMPORT FIDELITY'S DETAILED DETAILED TRANSACTIONS FOR 1099-B WHICH I WAS NOT ABLE TO DO LAST YEAR OR THIS YEAR.

IT'S A PAIN TO HAVE TO MAIL THOSE FORMS TO THE IRS.

Taxes done right

We've been using Turbo Tax for nearly 20 years. It gets better and more reliable every year. For most tax payers this is the best way of completing your tax returns.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Can't use the new Turbo Tax on my old Mac
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Diminishing Quality

Quality of this product is falling. Have bought every year since 2011. During error check, it expects you to fill in a particular entry with no context. Horrible software engineering. Can't wait to try another software next year.
What's not so great: During Error Check, can't return to source entries to understand context

Overall very easy to follow. Purchased equip in 2014 and took 179 deduction, DDB deprec was also taken in 2014 & 15.
Ieven deleted the equip, and it still had the deprec on the return. I reentered the equip, and told the program that I had taken the 179 ded in a previous year. the program said my deprec ded was 0, but still took the ded on the return. Did I do
samething wrong or not enter something correctly.
