Home and business package is supposed to include one free state e-file. Filed two state returns - had to pay for both.

Great program!

I found the program easy to use and very thorough. I felt that our return is definitely correct and we have covered all aspects. I did find it annoying to have to answer some of the questions again if it was necessary for me to edit a number that I had entered previously. I would like to have the option to do direct input into the form if I need to edit a number.
What's great about it: Very thorough, asks all the right questions to make sure the return is correct.
What's not so great: I found it difficult to get back to a screen to edit a number.

Terrible

Last year was bad, but this was also awful. I think I will look for alternatives next year.
What's great about it: The program knows taxes better than I don
What's not so great: It works terribly with Macintosh computers. The online instructions don't work and the printing is almost impossible.

For the most part I have always liked and used Turbo Tax. My only issue is with the inability to easily go back to a 'form' format. Especially at the end in the final review. If there are errors or changes needed, there is no easy connection (that I could find or figure out) to go back and look for the context in which the change or fix was needed.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything very nicely
What's not so great: Final review errors not easy to find context; no easy connection to form

What happened?

Last year I had a quick and easy time filing my 1099-misc. This year, it took me forever and was totally confusing! I don't know what happened!
