What's great about it: Familiar, Easy Transfer of data, have used the past 15 years with no problems
What's not so great: When fixing errors that are not intuitive . does not give you an exit to the form or data point

Long Time User of TurboTax

Have been using TurboTax for over twenty years. Appreciate your product very much. Makes preparation of taxes much easier. Product gets better each year. Reminds me of what deductions that I have had in the past. Disappointed that this is the last year that XP is supported. Guess I need a new computer anyway. In my late 70's so I need to learn a new system before it is too late.
What's great about it: Gets better every year. Downloads past info.
What's not so great: State tax info should download info like federal such as 1099 info.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

great product

great product. I have used it for 5 or 6 years now and always goes easy. always gets me all my deductions and credits and gets me a decent refund. I will continue to use unless I hire an accountant. but I doubt I will need to hire one since turbotax makes it so easy.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: could have more detailed tips and help windows

Difficult Taxes made Easy

Why pay a tax accountant to do your difficult taxes when a software like TurboTax is made accessible? Every year for the past 10 years, TurboTax has helped me with Income Tax return with scenarios like rental properties, business taxes, self-employment tax, if you've hired a baby sitter, retirement penalty amount owed, investment properties, married filling joint or separately and many other tax scenarios you encounter. The simple answering of questionnaire in the software guides you in the tax preparation so you don't need to know a lot about tax laws and guidelines, TurboTax calculates and advises you along the way.
What's great about it: Maximizes Return and checks for accuracy
What's not so great: You have to enter manually certain amounts in State Taxes instead of guiding you
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: Extremely easy. A few years ago, I used to file my own return and it wasn't, nearly, as complete as this.
What's not so great: I didn't get a return, but that was my fault...

We've been using Intuit's TurboTax for years now and, even with significantly changing personal circumstances, the software continues to provide us with all that we need to quickly and completely handle what has become a very complicated tax situation for us. Thank you for giving us such a great product and the support we need!
What's great about it: easy to use, complete, terrific support
