As usual, life is a bit easier, and I can still be very detail oriented with my taxes with turbo tax. It walks you though most any encounter, need or deduction - I even handled the additional HSA deductions and knew how to get my 1099SA using TT's help. Overall it adds to my peace of mind come tax time, I know that it covers me, but that I made the conservative decisions I wanted to.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, questions walk you through the return
What's not so great: Things like HSA deductions are not obvious when initially entered, running totl is not always reflective of final refund

Just OK

I miss the narrative explanations for line item entry. Instructions are vague for State forms. I.e., are COBRA HC plans subsidized or non sub? State instructions not available for review.
What's great about it: Calcs were fast & accurate, flow was good.
What's not so great: schedule A deductions no longer auto advance to the next item/topic.

Have used Turbo Tax for about 9 years now. Easy to use, doesn't make you feel like a dummy. terms are all easy to understand. Quick filing... catches mistakes for easy correction. love Turbo Tax
What's great about it: Easy to use. very user friendly. Keeps you on the straight and narrow

TT makes doing your own taxes so easy. Even with self employment business deductions and the "Its deductible" for charitable calculation TT makes quick work of doing your taxes if you have all of your necessary documentation together.

Easy but still has bug

It seems you have to confirm your info several ways before it'll move on, making you wade through too many unlikely scenarios. A page listing everything they'll ask with boxes to check if they don't apply to you would speed things up.
I ran into the same bug as last year, file would not "save-as" on the Mac but fortunately I'd kept notes for the work around. Big nuisance, however, not to mention the initial panic when all that work refuses to "save".
