I have used turbotax for years. Unfortunately, this year was the most difficult I have ever had. To me, there was a lack of explanations in many areas as to what the terminology meant, even after going to the forms portion.
I found this version to be much harder to follow, understand, and find understandable directions or explanations.

I wouldn't go any other way than the Turbo Tax way

Educational/ Higher learning expenses are also exempt from the 10% tax penalty as well when you are taking a distribution from a retirement plan. But that option is not listed in your software
What's great about it: Very goog software
What's not so great: 10% penaly
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Form Views makes it easy

Have used TurboTax Business over several years and been happy with the process.
What's great about it: Liked the ability to switch from interview to forms, makes best use of my time
What's not so great: Can't enter receipts throughout the year, system can't recognize prior entered names to reduce data entry.

Review of 2015 Turbotax Home and Business

Only had two issues this year : entered information on the Health questioneer which is new this year, but did not get recorded somehow when I was going through final review....had to go back and reenter.
second issue was with tax credits on Fed return....somehow state tax information for 2014 and 2015 in the deduction section ( i think it was ( on carry forward work sheet ), was quadrupled which then showed me getting a refund significantly more than what I was expecting....after going through "data source" ( very nice feature of TurboTax where one can find where numbers come from, I discovered the duplications, deleted the extra ones and all okay.

Made being a business owner EASY

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years. After two years I became a pro at doing company taxes even as my business grew. The only down side is that Home and Business does not supply me with my Tennessee State Franchise and Excise tax. That is only available with Turbo Tax Business and as a single member LLC I have no need to buy the Turbo Tax Business. If the F&E tax was available on Home & Business Turbo Tax would get 5 stars hands down. In the meantime I will continue to use turbo tax (as well as my other Intuit products) to help continue to make my business successful.
What's great about it: Walk through, ability to buy prior years, audit protection
What's not so great: No francise and excise tax on home and business
