Just finished my taxes

I've been using TurboTax for years now, and the only problem I really have ever had with the program is that the program supposes that you know how the state component might need to handle income & deductions differently than the federal component. I really have no idea how this might be different, that's what I want the program to do: figure this out for me.
Fortunately, I don't really have any of these differences in my return. My return is fairly simple.
What's great about it: It took more time to prepare receipts & compile expenses than it did to run TurboTax
What's not so great: state vs. Federal handling of income & deductions

I have used TurboTax for many years. Every time I try another tax program, I come back to TurboTax. My only complaint is that I have to create a dummy return for the past year in order to track my tax status for the coming year. Those of us who have a TurboTax automatic account should get a preliminary version at the beginning of the year so we can track variable expenditures such as charitable contributions and know if we are contributing enough. If I don't get a version until November, I don't know if I made enough contributions in the Spring with my previous refund. I also need to track my capital gains to see if I need to make more deductible purchases of supplies, and if I am spending too much on business meals, etc.
What's great about it: Walks me through the steps I need and lets me go directly when I want to
What's not so great: Turbo tax needs a temporary version for the next year

Great way to file a refund

Simplistic Journey

This is my first year as a sole proprietor of my new business in the wood working industry. I approached my taxes with fear and trepidation simply because of the loss that I suffered during my first year in addition to, I've only used HR Block software in the past. This software put me at ease during covering every aspect of my deductions, start up cost, etc.., plus it guided me through every process with step by step instructions, hints and other helpful aids. However, I've not completed a side by side comparison with other tax software (HR Block) to see if the return was comparable. Nevertheless, the process was so easy that anybody could perform these basic functions and answer the simple questions contained in this software. I would highly recommend it for any business owners that have to file both personal and business taxes. Good job Turbo Tax you have gained another customer.
What's great about it: Guidance through the entire process was impecible
What's not so great: Searching for forms could be simplified

Glitch in the System!

Fix the problems with the system so we can file electronically next year. Otherwise, the experience was okay,

What's not so great: There was a glitch that would not let us file electronically. :/
