Relief!!

The overall performance and reliability of this product is excellent. Have used it for last 5 years.
One area to improve on is transfering program and files to new computer. Took several attempts to move last year's info to this year's form. Had Windows XP (32bit) last year and Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit) this year.

What's great about it: Simple format
What's not so great: some help sections don't answer specific questions

Worked Great.

All things considered, a great program, easy to use, especially year over year when it can repopulate fields from previous years. Some areas where it says "edit" may not be completely clear that a step is needed, but minor compared to the pluses.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, up to the second status on refund.
What's not so great: Some options to edit are a little non-intuitive.

It's great w. one exception

I love TurboTax because I learn so much about the rules etc. But I don't know what to do about not getting my amortization and depreciation form 4562 imported. It still applies, the property is the same, I read some suggestions and added an asset that I had expensed but it starts again rather than adding on to old.
I need the old record to start with--its from 1979. I'll need it for future sale etc
What's great about it: Asks just about everything
What's not so great: didn't import 4562 and if I add new asset it creates new one line asset depreciation page

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. This tax software makes completing your Federal And State returns simple and easy.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax guides you through every step to complete your tax returns.

Had trouble w/ filing an ira that i rolled over and then took out early.
also had trouble putting in the sale of a rental warehouse that I owned only 21% AND SOLD my share back to my partner. One it only asked me how much we sold the building for and we didn't sell it. and 2. it kept telling me since I didn't have a gain it would put this info in somewhere else and it would go back to "put the info of the same stuff I put in then tell me I can't because there was no gain.

Good But Not Great

I found that finding the couple of errors I had was confusing and almost impossible to find the errors. This should be more easy to get to section in question.
What's great about it: Ease of use for the most part
What's not so great: Hard to correct errors in audit section
