TurboTax Return 2015

TurboTax has been an excellent tool for me to prepare our families federal and state returns for the past 15 years. I appreciate the thorough process for entering and calculating all of the necessary entries for our annual returns, before and after retirement.
What's great about it: I like the managed process.
What's not so great: I'd like to see/access information on K-1 deductions and amortization.

Love Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo Tax for probably 15 years. I trust it! The overall results and the informative reviews and analyses are excellent. I am confident my return is correct when I file. eFiling is a snap and efficient, Security within the system when paying for the eFile is well designed. Customer Service on questions whether they are in regard to the tax return or eFiling are answered professionally, efficiently, and with excellent proof sources. I am well please with the overall product and the people who support it.
What's great about it: Have been using Turbo Tax for at least 15 years! It's easy! It's fast; It Checks your work!!!

This is the first time I have ever attempted to do my own tax preparation in 33 years of self -employment. Every step of the way was directed and made extremely simple. Everything from inputting my Quickbooks information to showing me where to locate information on documents.
What's great about it: Step by step process answering every question I had along the way.
What's not so great: Difficult to find a phone number for customer service.

Even complex is simple with Tubotax

I've been using TuboTax Home and Business to prepare both personal and schedule C business returns for many years (i.e., 15 ). Intuit keeps improving their products making it easier to navigate and complete returns each year.
The auto-renew feature takes away the annual need to make time to remember to reorder. I've repeatedly recommended TuboTax to friends,family, and associates.
What's great about it: Easy to understand prompts and guidance
What's not so great: A theft from a con artist needed additional research
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Not so good for 2015

1. Never saw an option to have state refund applied to 2016 state taxes
2. Unable to change the actual form. I was able to change the 1040 refund - and there was an option, but not the state refund.

Hidden worksheet Error Unfixable since 2014

Kept getting Error: "Schedule C Hidden Worksheet/Commexpa-1 Supporting details: Amount-1 is marked as estimated. Enter the correct number, then select Unmark Estimated from the Edit Menu" NEVER Found the hidden worksheet. Error only appeared in easy step. Forms didn't show it. Couldnt file electornically. Help from 2014 said that suggested fix was to print PDF of return, delete return and start over!!!!
What's not so great: Broken code. Can't fix it.

Upgrading from Premier to Home & Business software

I could not transfer the info I've entered in the Premier software after I upgraded to Home & Business. I thought that upgrading would automatically enter the info. I had to re-enter everything!!!

The best tax program ever !!!

I have been using TurboTax for many years with ease. Our returns were very complicated with all the investments and rental properties. We were audited by the IRS last year without any issue. Even the IRS Auditor said my returns were so well prepared.
Using TurboTax to do my returns was the greatest way of saving money. No more CPA or attorney to do our returns for us.
Way you go TurboTax !!! Please keep up the great work.
