edit form not straight forward, had to use the help msg center to get an answer
What's great about it: easy to navigate
What's not so great: search feature was marginal

Auto Updates

Con:
I had to call customer support for help. They were patient with diagnosing the problem, and provided a URL link to do a manual download of the TurboTax updates. An update progress indicator feature that can also determine when it has timed out would be helpful.

What's great about it: TurboTax is much more cost effective than hiring an accountant.
What's not so great: The link to Intuit stalled out when TurboTax tried to fetch the latest product updates.

10 YEARS WITH TURBO TAX

HAVE USED TT FOR 10 YEARS NOW. I'VE ALWAYS BEEN HAPPY WITH THE WAY I CAN DO MY OWN TAXES.
EVEN WITH MY WIFE'S DECORATING BUSINESS AND IT DOES ALL THE DEPRECIATION CALCULATIONS.
COULDN'T BE EASIER.
LIKE ANYTHING YOU RUN INTO A BUMP NOW AND THEN, BUT IF YOU STICK WITH IT YOU CAN GET THROUGH IT.

Turbo Tax Home & Business saved me a bundle

Home and business saved me over $1400 in tax filing fees and found me extra deductions I haven't used in the past
What's great about it: Imported 1099s
What's not so great: switching back and forth from step by step to forms

Under pressure

From purchase to submission for home and business it took about 6 hours. Not bad considering it saved me the ridiculous fees from a tax preparer.
What's great about it: This took my under pressure experience to one of ease & confidence.

Excellent Support and Program!

I am a tax professional but don't do personal income tax work but choose to file my own taxes and have done so for the past two years! Turbo Tax is a great program that really provides a breadth of knowledge broken down for people to really understand what is required of them in filing correct and accurate taxes. The support network for the program itself is excellent and they have helped me tremendously! Thank you turbo tax!
