2015 Turbotax Review

I have used TurboTax for twenty years. It is easy to follow and find my deductions. But this year, 2015, I learned that TurboTax DOES NOT support all tax situations. This year I needed the form for gift tax and found it was not supported. I suggest if you have unusual tax situations, check before buying any tax software to see if it supports your situation. I will buy TurboTax next year.
What's great about it: Easy to use. It helps me find all my deductions.
What's not so great: Turbotax DOES NOT support All tax forms! Research your needs before buying.

Another Successful Turbo Tax Year

Turbo Tax gets better every year. The only glitch I found was the inability to get to the on line site to correct a 1099-MISC form before I transmitted it to the FEDS. The help desk was very efficient in getting me the necessary link which I have used successfully a number of times. Thanks for the fine product. See you next year.
What's great about it: Ease of Use, questions helped shape the data required. Ease in filing Federal and State Returns
What's not so great: Had to use Help Desk to get back to the 1099 MISC web site since the program would not let me returen

Works well except for being able to enlarge the screen on my MAC
What's great about it: easy/quick to use especially after the first year
What's not so great: Can not magnify print on my monitor, Too hard to read the small print

I feel like a hero

I do the whole family's taxes. We all see to have business besides our employment and Turbo Tax steps us through the Schedule C quite handily
What's great about it: It just makes sense
What's not so great: Told me a needed to redo the Health Expense, but I just needed to mark the "we're Fully covered box

Easy

I have used TurboTax for years because it is very easy and dealing with taxes can be a real pain. Aside from doing my own taxes with pencil and paper, I have never done them any other way. So I trust the software works as it should but I also don't have anything to judge it against.
What's great about it: Very simple and straightforward
What's not so great: Have to trust the software, computer, internet, etc...

going from EZ entry to Forms

when you switch over to FORMS (to correct an error, for instance), you never come back to the same place when you are done and switch back over to EZ Entry.
