What's great about it: Quick, Fast, and easy
What's not so great: I couldnt e-file my free State because I had two forms that needed to be mailed in, per Arkansas state laws
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

This always helps me get done with my taxes in 1 session since importing past information is quick and saves time.
What's great about it: Imports past data which dont have to refill out
What's not so great: Wish it were cheaper

TurboTax walks through your yearly taxes with you, acting as an advocate to get you the best return possible. It makes doing your taxes so easy and explains everything along the way. I would never do my taxes with any other program.
What's great about it: Very thorough, step-by-step, doesn't miss anything.
What's not so great: None.

farmers and fishermen

farmers and fisherman do not have to pay estimated tax if paid by March 1 which I always do, but your systems insists that we do. Even though I checked the box that asked if we were farmers or fisherman and even though I submitted my payment and filed before the deadline in the end a penalty was added to my tax total I did the review 2 times before submitting and it supposedly was all good but then lol there it was included on both federal and state a penalty.
These aren't too many of us sole proprietor f&fs around so I know it is hard to make something that works just for us but we also are not what you call in the highest income bracket so please give us all our tax benefits

Will never use this tax software again

I was very frustrated most of the way through using this tax software. I have a bachelor degree in Finance and even I thought this software was frustrating. If you are going to use this software: REVIEW, REVIEW,REVIEW the final tax document before hitting the send button to submit. Compare the preview document to last years taxes to make sure those questions they ask you actually put the tax information on the correct line. I had to go back several times and correct information because it was on the wrong tax line.
What's great about it: The questions they asked were good
What's not so great: Almost zero chance of phone support
