Each year I get better at entering data in Quicken and Turbo Tax does a wonderful job of helping me enter the correct numbers where required.
What's great about it: Walked me through every requirement
What's not so great: sometimes hard to follow where the program was

Mostly OK but for one glitch.

Finally found the double counting of my guaranteed partner payment of medical and removed it by an override on the final personal medical expenses.
What's great about it: Easy transfer of prior year info,
What's not so great: Had to manually correct a double counting on my medical expense from my K-1.

Why is each version of state an additional charge?
on March 7, 2016

I was very surprised that each version of the state return 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041 was a separate charge. Since the Federal versions are included in one price, it would make sense to have the 4 versions in one state download at one price.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Charges for multiple types of state returns

Extremely easy, except 1 thing

Very easy to use. Unfortunately when I went to do the 1099s on March 3rd, I found I could not e-file. I could e-file the tax return, but NOT the 1099s. To do that you have to buy the online version. This is not found anywhere in the documentation. The deadline to file a paper copy is February 29, so I may incur a late fee from IRS - NOT COOL.
What's great about it: Able to go straight from general ledger to filling out the return.
What's not so great: Unable to efile 1099s from Physical software

Turbotax for small Business

I have no complaints, and have been using this programme for 12 years now.
It would be nice to get more suggestions for my Travel Business on what can be deducted.
It would be nice to have comparisons with similar operations to mine.
I like the way it shows you last year to this year's comparison.
What's great about it: Easy to use, works best on my PC
What's not so great: Wish I knew how to use it on my MAC

not what it used to be

info from quickbooks didn't all transfer leaving me trying to balance my balance sheet with missing info, ended up starting over and entering info manually. Also from federal to state all info didn't transfer leaving me entering more info manually. Used to work much better spent almost 10 hours doing a small business return. What a waste of time.
What's not so great: doesn't transfer info properly
