Bad experiances

Two years in a row I've found defects in the 1099-INT form. Last year it was corrected in about 6 weeks. This year after reporting the issue it was only partially fixed, then I was given a "work around". Then after efiling I get an error message on the screen that says "Print and Mail these forms" and the error is basically "sorry, cant create the PDF format of the form you need to send in".
What the heck?!?

always a glitch or two

Been using TT business for years. Mostly find it solid software for the price. There are always a few glitches requiring in depth research or worse yet a customer support contact attempt.
In this case, it was the strange and new " special control box" found on a fiduciary information sheet. I could not e file without it yet, TT provided zero information explaining it.
I dug deep into the IRS website and found an obscure and somewhat unintelligible explaination. After attempting a few guesses, my efile went through. Now, to see if it gets accepted....

What's great about it: overall solid value for price

Tried several times to breakout total salary and wages between officer salary and the rest of the employees, but the software would not accept this. When I did break it out, the total salary and wages was overstated. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!
Federal return filed does not list any officer salary, just lists the total salary and wages.

Using Turbo Tax products for 22 years, enough said!
What's great about it: Consistent, Easy to use and the transfer feature could not make it easier
What's not so great: Little Pricey, ........But in the end worth it
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I had a baby, I moved

Still Needs Some Work (for Trusts)

When using crop share input screen in forms, 1099 and Sch E questions relating to property type and days rented not available. Transfer of info to IL not always consistent with Fed (such as business vs non business income). IL Sch K-3 didn't print with workpapers when it should have, even though REQUIRED to keep in files to hold if requested. Good thing it is easy to switch between various input tabs and/or forms. State portion was not issued very timely. I expected easier completion in 2nd year of using this TT version, but actually took longer.
What's great about it: Crop Share Farm input for Trusts, easy switch b/w tabs and forms
What's not so great: Some things don't flow like they should, IL form issues and late issue
