FINAL RETURN

Final Tax for each state is needed rather than just a blanket question for the federal. I open and close state business every few years of so.
What's great about it: Question was asked and most that I needed.
What's not so great: However, we need a question by state to cover "FINAL RETURN".

Poor import and printing

Printing truncates forms at bottom, requiring shrinking to fit.
Have to manually import 1099 information from brokerage accounts for trusts. Can't do trusts in any other version, although other versions do allow direct import. Either do trusts in other versions or allow importing data. Takes hours to manually add this data.
What's great about it: Automated parts are good
What's not so great: Poor import and printing

I can't overwrite the depreciation. I have depreciation table I'm going by and I don't agree with Turbo Tax. I don't want to claim a 'set' depreciation. I want to go by my own table.
Also, I refuse to file electronically for the corporation. I wasn't left with any options with Turbo Tax. I want to be able to input my own numbers.
I don't want to remit funds electronically. I've used Turbo Tax since 2003 and am in the process of looking for a tax program that will give me the option of inputting the 'correct' dollar amount in any and all cells.

Makes my life so much easier by walking me through step by step. Business taxes are still a little confusing but was able to get the job done on time.

What's not so great: A little expensive but not compared to an accountant

My only issue is if you do not need to include a balance sheet, the choice of skipping is not readily available to choose. You must perform extra steps in the Forms area to accomplish this. I thought after last year, this would have been fixed.

What's not so great: Balance Sheet if not needed
