Piece of Cake!!

Had no problem filing my business taxes with TurboTax Business software. Was very easy to use and straight forward. The professional accountants basically use the same software so why not do it yourself and safe some money. Plus you will learn a little more about taxes. Take full control of your business!
What's great about it: Straight Forward and Easy
What's not so great: No ability to import if you just use Quick books online

Too easy

This is the second time I filed my LLC taxes with Turbo Tax.. So long as my financials are all available it is so easy it's not funny.
What's great about it: Very simple to fill out the tax forms
What's not so great: little pricey
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Many Software Issues

My biggest complaint is that sometimes mistakes would be time consuming and costly to fix. Case in point, I accidentally clicked on file amended form. I realized it after a couple pages and went back to rectify the situation. I didn't see the screen so figured it had gone away until I did the final review. It pointed to mutiple issue with Form 1065X...I didn't want to file form 1065X - I clicked it by mistake and could not undo the damage. I finally realized you could delte whole forms in the software, which I did after spending maybe 30 or 40 minutes trying to figure out how to undo the simple question (which never appeared again until I deleted the form). There were other bugs as well that were equally frustrating akin to this one.
What's great about it: More or less easy to understand and use
What's not so great: Mistakes or Problems hard to fix

Employee pay and wages did not transfer

the page where I could enter employee wages, it never changed even after I changed it multiple times. I had to go to the form to change it. Same with the payroll taxes. I'm nervous that it is not correct. This didn't happen last year. I looked online for answers and they said the answer is to go to the form and fix it myself. Why get a huge expensive program when I have to fill in the form myself?

What's great about it: Organized with helpful hints and lists.
What's not so great: Instructions for saving using .pdf don't quite line up with the newer version of Adobe. Not sure how to save.

Prepare to be wowed by efficiency & precision

Intuitive indeed. I have continued to be impressed by the consistent high performance, ease of use, efficiency, and precision. I am a fan of filing early to help make sure that I get the K1s to all of my co-founders in a timely fashion and being able to have others review my filings in advance. Intuit helps me take my raw Quickbooks file (which it finds so quickly and effectively!) and imports all of the data straight into Turbo Tax. Also, as you walk through the program, it prompts you regarding key sections which the software recognizes you might be able to garner tax deductions. This responsiveness to potential tax deductions is quite helpful for us because we are a small and growing startup. In addition, in less than a few hours we filed both our federal and state taxes. Again, love the simplicity behind the platform and the ease of use. Also loved the way the software prompted you and made sure you signed exactly everywhere you needed to and when you had to make a payment (for us for audit protection and for state tax filing software) we were able to do so in a secure platform.
I would highly recommend the Turbo Tax Business 2015 and the Turbo Tax Home & Business 2015.
What's great about it: LOVED the simplicity behind the platform and the ease of use. Intuitive indeed.
What's not so great: I do not like that I ended up also purchasing the Intuit Home & Business for personal federal and state returns/e-file.

IL State form showed a penalty due but IL cashed the check for 2014. No apparent way to see the calculations. Self corrected to tax due without penalty and selected let IL calculate any penalty.
What's great about it: Overall simple and easy
What's not so great: getting signed form 8453-PE into the return took many tries, rather frustrating.
