The help and explanation needs some work, otherwise it took a few run throughs to get the sheets to balance , awkward entry if not through quickbooks
What's great about it: Was able to get it done, but took some effort
What's not so great: Really had to go outside to get questions answered
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

This is my second year using TurboTax for business and it's a great product. I just wish that Intuit would offer an online version, similar to it's personal tax software. Thanks!
What's great about it: User friendly
What's not so great: No online version

Great but one big efile program bug
on February 17, 2016
Posted by: Mike6789
I had a straightforward trust to file and have used TTax Business previously to file by mail. This year I used efile, attaching my electronic signature via scanned PDF. My return filed fine, BUT at the very end, TTax said there were forms that had to be sent by mail to the IRS. When I hit the button to identify and print those forms, TTax gave error saying "unable to convert my forms to PDF". I found this to be a common problem by searching the TTax AnswerExchange, but no one from Intuit had replied. After calls to Intuit help and an hour+ on hold, I got an agent to replicate the error on her machine with my return. The agent was able to tell me that I should "probably" send Form 8453-FE (signature page) to the IRS in hardcopy, and she was able to give me the IRS address for my area. This is a really important bug that Intuit should fix, since there's already an extensive thread of customers with the same problem. -- A 28-yr TTax user.
What's great about it: Easy and comprehensive
What's not so great: efile program error tripled by preparation time

Been using the business version for 4 years. This year I had more trouble doing the importing and had to do more editing of the forms. Not sure of the difference but it took 2xs as long compared to the last 2 years.
What's great about it: Linked with Quickbooks Pro well
What's not so great: Had trouble with the balance sheets and linking with forms this year

TT2015 H&B continues to be the best program ever for taxes. Have used it for 25+ years.
What's great about it: Best system ever
What's not so great: Can't import Quicken H&B 2016 data; therefore have to do it manually

Improvements Make TurboTax #1
on February 18, 2016

The ability to transfer back and forth between the step-by-step and the forms view/entry is now user friendly and intuitive. In the first releases of this, making sure that the revised numbers were actually being transferred to the right place and to the step-by-step, if entered from the form itself was very questionable. Locating the area on the step-by-step was at times almost impossible.
It is all fluid now - programming has come a long way and I am very impressed. I have been to tax consultants in the old days prior to TurboTax - and have received bad information. I am confident in TurboTax and now take care of it all myself.
Thank you all for your yearly improvements! I have been using your product since it first came out on one of the first Apple computers, the 400 I believe. A very lot of years ago.

What's great about it: Can now complete everything electronically - including the signatures. Anyone with a smart phone can do it!
What's not so great: Have not found any

Could be Better
on February 18, 2016

I did a Grantor Type Trust and it would not fill data into the K-1 form and it generated an error for the 1041 form for data entered erroneously by the program. Took me 30 minutes to load this years data a 4 hours to debug and e-file the return. Should be better next year.
What's great about it: Carries data over from previous year, intuitive input pages
What's not so great: Does not populate all forms and doesn't tell you. A few bugs
