This program overall works well for me. Easy to use for small companies.
What's great about it: Quicken easy to use if familiar
What's not so great: Quicken has to much registration items and the like

Use TurboTax every year and it does the trick. Easy to use and understand and if you need help it is only a phone call or click away.
What's great about it: Simple and straightforward forms
What's not so great: would like the 8903 to automatically populate in the questions

An Engineers Friend

TurboTax is a valuable friend to those of us with scientific and engineering minds. The world of finance and taxation is not a friend and appears to us to be without logical basis. TurboTax, through methodical data building leads us to succeed even when we do not understand much of the process.
I've been using TurboTax for 4 years now. Without this resource, I would be unable to complete and file my taxes without the support of a CPA. - Thank you TurboTax.

What's great about it: Ease of movement forward and back through the information gathering process.
What's not so great: Lacks initial expense and income entry guide for pregathering information.

Business Partnership

In the depreciation section where there is a prompt to remove an obsolete, replaced or discarded asset, if you select the prompt "next," the screen does nothing. I had to figure my way around the frozen prompt in the forms section.
The software is not user friendly in entering a guaranteed payment to one partner for services provided. I manage an apt rental business but it was difficult decide which code to select and then I had to override the "00" amount and place the payment on the actual form in the forms section and enter it on my K-1
It is always difficult in deciding what is maintenance versus repairs.
In general, Turbo Tax Partnership is easy to use but one had better have tax preparation experience to make sure that all the entries present and are correct.
What's great about it: Generally easy to use.
What's not so great: Removal of an obsolete/discarded asset is difficult. Difficult to enter guaranteed payment to a partner.
