I have used turbotax for the last 4 years and I am very satisfied with the product and results.
What's great about it: Simple and straight forward to use. Went through step by step.

Excellent Product

Turbo Tax is an awesome product, and the support that comes with it is wonderful. They have answered every question I've ever had, spent hours with me on the phone and have made doing my business taxes a snap. I use QuickBooks, and a representative from Intuit helped me set up tax mapping my first year. Tax mapping is key for communication between the two programs. Get that right up front and the rest is so much easier!
What's great about it: Makes doing taxes an absolute snap. Seriously!
What's not so great: Could use some better guidance for setting up tax mapping in QuickBooks.

Why Go Anywhere Else?

As always best tax software out there. Would not consider any other software. Always up-to-date and thorough.
What's great about it: Straightforward, comprehensive, easy to use
What's not so great: When changing computers past year files difficult to relocate and then find

Easy, but could be easier

When deducting asset's depreciation, it would be nice to have an explanation of what you need to do to qualify deducting a vehicle. I.e. how many miles need to be used for business, or expenses, etc.
Also, it would be nice to have an "undo" button so that typos could be easily...undone.
What's great about it: usually easy to figure out where to put my numbers
What's not so great: there was some room for explanation
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

able to do complex taxes with confidence

Easy to use and thorough. More confident in the outcome of my taxes than using a tax preparer that isn't as passionate about my business as I am. I love being able to work on it for a little while and come back right where I left off.
What's great about it: Asks me questions I hadn't thought of
What's not so great: Not a lot of information on the state requirements
Pros: I bought or sold investments

1) transfer unknown information
2) guaranteed payment for capitol was transfer to self-employment
3) Wisconsin state return did not transfer the guaranteed payment correctly

I have a simple LLC but found this easy to use and saved me money since I didn't have to have help in filing the return.
