Love the automated features

Tax filing has become so much easier thanks to Turbotax's new features. I remember the days of having to manually calculate the basis of every mutual fund I own, adjusting for each dividend and distribution throughout the year. It's wonderful that Turbotax now does all that automatically
What's great about it: The way all required information is automatically downloaded from my brokerage accounts into Turbotax
What's not so great: Nothing I can think of - Turbotax has matured into an excellent product

I just wish I could take more than the standard deduction, but that is not Turbo Tax's fault.

Fast and simple service

Do my taxes with TurboTax every year and it has never failed me. Not entirely sure if I am doing things correctly to maximize my return, but it does enough that I feel comfortable using it. I will look into the details of doing a more thorough tax job when I am a at a better point in my life, but for now, TurboTax helps simplify the process.
What's great about it: Easy click through process that takes you from beginning to end very thoroughly
What's not so great: Feels like information is hidden under the hood at times, so you go on blind trust that things are working appropriately

Charged for E-file that I couldn't use

What's great about it: Automatically calculated refund for an unusual tax situation: working for an international organization
What's not so great: Because I had to override a field, I was not able to e-file. But I was still charged for state e-filing for 2 states
