Really quick and easy way to do your taxes if you have a simple year to be taxed. Very reliable and helpful. Use them every year.

TurboTax Yay! - IRS Boo!

I've been using TurboTax for as long as TurboTax has existed, and my federal return has never been chosen for audit. Can't do better than that!
What's great about it: Complete instructions, easy entry and filing, reliable calculations.
What's not so great: IRS Tax Code is ludicrously complex.

Double Dip

I enjoyed using TurboTax as usual, but this year I ended up paying for the service twice. I paid for the Advantage software but I could only get to the Basic issue.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Had to pay twice

Used TT for many years and each year it seems to get a little bit better. Recommend it except this year I could not print a copy of the final return. Th software tells you how but it does not work - at least on my machine.
What's great about it: Very complete and easy to use
What's not so great: Can't easily print a final copy!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Like the ability to model what would happen if I made an IRA payment to see the impact on my taxes!
What's not so great: None really

I used the product to do my 3 children's taxes. They are all young adults and I used the basic version of TurboTax. I was very pleased at the ease of use honestly. Also happy to save quite a few dollars my doing their returns myself. I did have to add in some 1099's. Dividends from investments and investment income. Simple.
What's great about it: Simple to follow prompts; very intuitive
What's not so great: none really; slight digging but well designed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

As always, Excellent; but first time on Mac

Been using TurboTax for so long, I know exactly what to do and I don't need alot of help. My taxes are simple.
What I did do differently this time though, was to use the Mac version. I was really afraid it would be some hacked together thing and was pleased to discover that it was the exact same product as the PC version. YAY!
I had one problem, where after my OS upgrade, the TurboTax automatic update failed. But I was able to use the instructions on the community help to force the upgrade to happen so, as far as I'm concerned, all good.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, what can I say
What's not so great: Really, nothing I can think of

I liked it better when there was a button at the top that showed how much you owed. It would get smaller as you continued. You also used to give the option of printing the work sheets. Other than that Turbo Tax worked great for me.
