What's great about it: Allows me to do my own taxes without paying for a tax advisor

No Print

Finally got to the end and where it stated "print a copy for your records", it wouldn't. Had to choose save as a PDF, then open Adobe and print from there.
What's not so great: Wouldn't print copy for my records.

Minimal pain

Turbo Tax makes this painful process relatively pain free, I appreciate the ability to transfer information from last year's return such as repeat charity donations and addresses.
What's great about it: I appreciate how the previous year info is transferred to the current tax return, including our multiple charity donatio
What's not so great: Trouble inputing salestax paid on a deck after we noticed the contractor charged wrong amount.

because I received a small royalty for a book I wrote, it kept looping me into a "business" category. NO BUSINESS!!!!!

Done in an Hour

quick, easy to follow, and confident it will work like the last several times i submitted turbotax.
What's great about it: easy fast and reliable
What's not so great: had to pay for state individually and had to give either bank acct number or credit card info to pay sub from fed return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Kills me to pay this!

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and it gets easier each time! I dread doing it because I have to put a year's worth of information together but would have to do this anyway even if I used a Tax Service or CPA to do it for me. So if you understand your income and outgo this is the ONLY way to go. It takes me about 6 hours from beginning to end....this includes putting information together.
What's great about it: Understood everything....well written directions
What's not so great: Having to send the government more money!
