Easy Guidance using Turbo Tax Basic - CD version.

More info is needed when using Capital Loss Carryover entries as difficult where to enter prior year carryover loss amount. Tried to use online assistance but that is a time-consuming community group and not sure how to get a TurboTax rep to assist. Just played with entry fields to get needed results.
Their e-file process is painless. Will use this product next year.

What's great about it: Input on screens is straight forward and easy to use. Can easily review and update.
What's not so great: Online questions directed to community environment. Cumbersome resolution/process from TurboTax rep.

Restart

Not all areas are self explanatory. Had to restart the program when it went into calculations mode for and extended period, several time.
What's great about it: As always fairly easy to use
What's not so great: Several times Turbo tax went into a calculate mode for 15 minutes had to restart turbo tax

Easy to use...well, TurboTax 'Basic'

Easy to use....well, TurboTax 'Basic.' So far I hadn't need to use their other products, yet. I do have to say that it is easy to use, at least for me. Others may or may not say the same. Everytime I would do my own taxes I would use TurboTax, however, last year i had decided to use H&R Block. Not sure if it is because I had never used their product before, but I totally didn't like how they had everything set up. I had to keep looking up questions here and there under their FAQ's in order to get my taxes done. In the end, I ended up getting a letter in the mail stating that i owed more money!! Crossing my fingers that it won't happen again. Just got done with my 2015 taxes with TurboTax, so hoping everything goes smoothly this time. At least when entering in my info, it was straight to the point. Not once did I need to look up their FAQ. It only took me about 45 minutes versious 2 days...

I have been using TurboTax before you could use the internet. I feel confident I always get my maximum refund and have never had a problem.

You Guys Are Great

This is great. I hadn't done my taxes since 2012. I called and they helped me get the older versions for free and even helped me while i did it if i needed help. Great Great Great customer service.
What's great about it: It was quick, detailed, easy, and i can call if i need help.
