It is time to ft.

I can find no mention of an RMD associated with a DEFINED BENEFITS PLAN. But, TT required an answer about an RMD and then goes on to analyze the answer relative to an IRA. Many people for years have had this confusion. (A search of the Internet reveals this). Please address the DEFINED BENEFITS PLAN directly.

What's great about it: It is getting better
What's not so great: A DEFINED BENEFIT PLAN is not an IRA but is treated as an IRA with no description of the difference.

TurboTax is a easy format to follow and file taxes with.
What's great about it: this is my 3rd year to use TurboTax and it has always been easy to follow.
What's not so great: no problems with it.

Intuit TurboTax continues to deliver

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years and they continue to improve their product and deliver a software solution that exceeds my expectations and makes the miserable job of filing taxes quick and easy. I still resist the push to go with the online version and I'm glad Intuit continues to let me download the software and do both my own and my children's taxes.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy. Difficult to make a mistake

TurboTax 2015

I've used Turbo Tax for about 10 years. My returns are not considered complicated, but still time consuming. This product helps much - especially with the calculations. Even though the product changes a little year to year, it very helpful. However, I can't understand the logic of charging so much for the state product, when my particular state (AZ) is awfully simple.
What's great about it: walks you through things at a good pace and flow
What's not so great: some tax situations are still a little unclear
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: EASY, UNDERSTANDABLE, QUICK
