as always easy to use

i did training on taxes and this one it's really easy, if you use the easy steps you don't need to be expert.
What's great about it: easy steps
What's not so great: could give special discounts direct to regular customers e-mail like me that use this software since 2009

Easiest return ever

Turbo tax was easy to use and understand. They ask the questions that will help you to complete your responses to get the most from your return.
What's great about it: The program asked me specific questions to obtain the information needed to complete our returns.
What's not so great: It cost extra to file our state returns.

Easy and Fast

For 2014 file, TT let you do the state return and you only had to pay if you e filed. This year you couldn't do the return at all, a distinct inconvenience for those who have SSA income. Ohio does not tax social security but it is included in the federal adjusted income.
Would be really nice if you added this back in when doing your 2015 software.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Won't let you do a state return without upgrading.

desktop software

Excellent product. Was trying to access a form on the online version but could not, had to buy the desktop software but it was OK as the cost was only $2 more than the online cost to file and I now had access to the other forms, Much easier than doing it on paper and having to wait for my taxes to be mailed.
What's great about it: included the forms I needed that the online version did not, $2 more for desktop version over online cost to file !
What's not so great: using additional forms was not clear, did not know if they were automatically being added to tax form

Good job, very professional

Final review indicated everything was OK. Just before I file you came up with a couple of errors. This should have been caught during final review.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Takes to long to bring tax return up even when you have no files to update

Extraordinarily Easy

Once the program was loaded, it was so fast and easy, that I did not have everything I needed, i.e. carry-overs from last year, within hand reach. Next year I hope to have all the papers right in front of me. I believe next year, it will take me less than 2 hours to do the whole thing.
What's great about it: Simplicity and very comprehensible instructions and questions.
What's not so great: It took a long time to load.

Got the basic version this year. Overpaid for pricier version in prior years. Still allowed enough of a check to confirm that the standard deduction was still the best option again this year without requiring me to purchase the more expensive version, just to be sure. The clear cut questions, tho tedious, ensure that the prep is thorough and complete. When additional info is wanted about a subject, it was available for deeper review.
What's great about it: Automatically populated form from last year. Methodically checked for info needed to file
What's not so great: Didn't allow to leave a balance with IRS as overpriced prior years' versions did.

We like you servce but had a problem

When going online to get the free version, told already had as account. you sent email but no password or user name. Very irritating. Finally went out and bought one. Please check and fix the problem with our "supposed" account. Thanks
