Oops!

Upon completing my return I used the electronic file and payment. The account and routing numbers transferred over. When the payment date I had selected came and went without the payment being taken I became worried. When I went back and checked the printed copy I noticed that the saving/checking box for the account to be used was not checked. The edits did not warn of this and apparently that process does not work without that check. I wrote a check, got the payment voucher and mailed it off before the deadline. Turbo might want to add that to the edits.
What's great about it: Have used for many years. Satisfied.
What's not so great: Error in the process. See review

Have used Turbo Tax to file Federal Income Taxes for years now - simple and efficient.
What's great about it: Fast, easy and convenient
What's not so great: Schedule C expenses was a little confusing to find and complete

Love the reliability, etc. But don't try so hard to sell me on other services. I know you're about making money, but go a little easier! And props for admitting last year that you screwed up on the difference between Basic and higher editions. Extremely smart PR move to own up to it.
What's great about it: Basic, straightforward, solid tax preparation
What's not so great: A little too cutesy, and don't try so hard to sell extra services to me!

Turbo Tax has made my tax filing quick easy and gives me confidence that all the latest updates/changes to tax codes have been incorporated into the forms & calculations.
This means I do not have to spend additional time becoming a tax expert.

What's great about it: Guided instructions and embedded calculations/checks.
What's not so great: Limited support for "unusual" cases.

crashed windows until I removed cd.

Crashed windows 10. Restarted windows couple times. Took out the cd and restarted ok. Install took several minutes after it said it finished.
